Universal XXI is the company that has been dedicated to the manufacture and distribution of rugs since 1983, leader in sales in Spain. Our facilities are located in Crevillente (Alicante), considered the city of the rug because it has been the epicentre of the national rug industry for centuries.

Installation
In our facilities, we have 14,000 m2, the equivalent of about two football pitches, dedicated to the production and storage of rugs. With our latest generation mechanical looms we produce top quality rugs in up to eight colours and 300,000 points per square metre of density.
Fabrication process
Our own production system allows us to experience and control the entire manufacturing process, from yarn selection to the delivery of the rug to the customer.

In addition to our own production, we are specialists in the marketing of rugs from various parts of the world.
We carefully select raw materials from Spain as well as Turkey, India and Belgium and our team of designers, salespeople and product technicians work closely together researching new ideas, materials, effects and styles.
The result is a wide range of rugs defined by their technical and aesthetic perfection, adapted to the latest décor trends, which are renewed each season.
Our rugs can be found in more than 800 points of sale, both small shops and large retail outlets in national and international locations
Committed to health and the environment
We minimise the impact generated in nature with the total control and recycling of the waste generated in the production process.
In addition, our rugs are completely safe for health, as we strictly comply with the European Reach regulation that regulates the sector in terms of substances used both in the manufacture and import of products.

Our own-produced rugs bear the “Alfombras de Crevillente” seal, a mark that guarantees their quality and origin.
We are also part of UNIFAM (National Union of Manufacturers of Rugs, Carpets, Coatings and Related Industries and Auxiliary), being active members of the rug industry, proud to belong to this sector and active participants in its development and promotion both within and outside our borders.
